How to Register

To enroll in the FCCPS Band Boosters Instrumental Lesson Program:

1. Review the Student Lesson Agreement below.
2. Submit your registration by completing the form and clicking Submit Registration & Add to Cart.
3. The lessons coordinator will connect you with an instructor after your form and payment have been received.

Lesson Pricing

• 30-minute lesson: $41
• 45-minute lesson: $61.50
• 60-minute lesson: $82

Student Lesson Agreement

By submitting this form, students and parents/guardians agree to the following:

1. Lesson Fees & Payment

• Full payment is due by the first of each month unless prior arrangements are made.

• Electronic payment options via Boosterhub.

2. Scheduling & Attendance

• Students or parents must notify the instructor 24 hours in advance of cancellations.
• Unexcused absences will not be refunded. Make-ups are not guaranteed.
• A two-week notice by email to the instructor is required to suspend or stop lessons.
• Lessons on early release and teacher work days should be confirmed with the instructor.

3. Lesson Location & Time

• Lessons will be held in-person Monday - Friday at Meridian High School or virtually.
• Students must arrive on time and ready to learn.
• Lessons must be completed by 9:00 p.m.

4. Expectations

• Students must complete assigned practice and follow a regular schedule.
• Appropriate behavior is expected at all times, just as during the regular school day.

5. Scholarships

• Financial assistance is available upon request.
• To apply, email Dr. Steffey (steffeyc@fccps.org) with your name, student’s name, and a brief explanation.

6. Liability Statement

Students and parents/guardians agree not to hold Falls Church City Public Schools, Oak Street Elementary School, Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, Meridian High School or its agents, the FCCPS Band Boosters or its agents, or any other member of the Meridian High School community liable for anything not explicitly stated in this agreement.

Eligibility

Open to Falls Church City Public Schools (FCCPS) students in grades 4-12 enrolled at:

• Meridian High School
• Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School
• Oak Street Elementary
